Serica China

赛瑞凯(中国)Serica China (formed in Hangzhou, March 2021) is a joint venture between Serica and the Chinese conglomerate Hakim Unique Group (汉鼎宇佑集团) with the goal of empowering Chinese companies to enter new markets and achieve their global potential – while also supporting foreign companies expansion into the Chinese market. Bringing together talent from China and the West, we have ambitious plans to expand our presence to all major innovation hubs (Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai) across the country in the next 18 months.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial problem solver with experience working in an international company in business development or operations to join our team. As Engagement Manager, you will be involved in most key aspects of the company, from business development and account management to strategy and execution, enabling you to create an impact from your first day.

Duties & Responsibilities

Business Development & Account Management

  • Assist the CEO and regional director in developing growth plans, creating business development opportunities, and engaging with key stakeholders across China.
  • Facilitate meetings between local and foreign stakeholders; directing the flow of the meetings to ensure smooth communication cross-culturally, clarifying and emphasizing sensitive issues, and ensuring that no pertinent information is lost in the process.
  • Help craft compelling proposals, presentations, and other key marketing assets to present to key local and foreign stakeholders.
  • Develop your own network by helping to grow and shape professional communities around your passions and interests, enhancing your personal brand, and creating commercial opportunities for the company.
  • Be an outstanding brand ambassador at all times, representing the company at various events and conferences across China.
  • Produce development plans to assist with the evolution of current services and the development of new ones.


Strategy & Execution

  • Assist the COO and project execution teams in delivering projects and creating value for our global client base.
  • Conduct market research and analysis, provide reports and assist in the development of market entry and growth strategies.
  • Be the lead project manager for different market entry solutions, and assist in the project management of more complex market representation and financial advisory solutions.
  • Help improve internal structures and project management practices to increase operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and circulate regular reports on key accounts, projects, and other initiatives.


Requirements

  • Chinese national with a bachelor’s degree from a university in the USA, UK, Canada, or Australia.
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B business development or project management experience in either the technology, finance, or professional services industry.
  • Fluent in English with experience working with (or for) foreign companies and/or clients.
  • Highly tenacious, confident, and positive attitude with the skills to develop professional relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, in both Chinese and English – with the ability to explain complex ideas, pitch compelling value propositions, deliver presentations and manage client expectations effectively.
  • An organized and analytical mind with an eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent research skills.
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to change.
  • (Highly preferred but not essential) have worked in North America or North Europe for five years or longer.

策略与执行
