CrossFund is an invitation-only, professional venture platform that gives angels broad access to investment opportunities in cross-border, early-stage tech companies in emerging Asian markets.

Founded in 2021, CrossFund matches vetted tech startups with accredited investors & mentors by using AI to assess venture suitability for both startups and angels. We are actively partnered with local incubators and accelerators across key Asian & European markets, and onboard our investors through private angel communities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

CrossFund is looking to hire a Business Analyst to help conduct due diligence for potential investments in startups. He/she will be tasked with presenting findings to company management through detailed written reports, and will work closely with prospective startup founders throughout the entire due diligence process.

• Review startup business plans and pitch decks
  
• Assess market/startup attractiveness to help identify compelling businesses
  
• Engage in all aspects of due diligence on new potential investments (business analysis, industry theses, competitive landscape, business/pricing model, and data collection)
  
• Write comprehensive reports on potential investment opportunities
  
• Retrieve any necessary information from reliable data sources
  
• Stay current on startup industry trends

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Business proficiency in English
  
• Business proficiency in European languages preferred
  
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
  
• Prior experience in investment banking and/or PE/VC as an analyst preferred
  
• Strong understanding of finance and accounting, along with the investment due diligence process
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• A due diligence writing sample will be requested
