You will get the unique opportunity to be plugged into the epicenter of the global startup ecosystem and will be responsible to help foreign Scaleups with differentiating propositions and technology to create business impact in China. In this role, you can bridge continents, help scaleups grow and improve Chinese society by scaling innovation that brings about progress.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Take full end-responsibility for sales, client management, program design and execution and community building in relation to our Scaleup program.
• Drive the awareness and adoption of XNODE Scaleup proposition across the scaleup verticals and hubs globally
• Discover, recruit, and help top-notch scaleups grow through our XNODE platform.
• Identify, accelerate, and win sales and business development opportunities with top startup customers and prospects.
• Create business development strategy, execution of business development activities designed to help XNODE's scaleup customers growing their businesses in China.
• Develop relationship in the broader startup ecosystem with investors (angels, VC investors, government funds, etc), technology media, co-working space, startup organizations, and all major stakeholders that have strong influence on scaleups.
JOB HOLDER’S COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE :
• 5+ years of professional work experience
• Passion for innovation and creating impact with innovation
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with external partners;
• Accomplished sales skills: ability to build a business development strategy, set sales targets and aggressively sell Xnode Scaleup programs
• Experience with accelerator, incubator, investor or innovation community.
• Well networked in the innovation ecosystem and a regular at key events with a particular focus on the European market
• Overseas experience of studying or working; foreigners are also welcomed
• Strong command of English in both verbal and writing; Good mandarin is a plus
• BA or BS degree in Innovation, Economics, Business, Marketing; MBA degree or equivalent is a plus
• A willingness to rapidly learn from your colleagues and embrace continuous improvement
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• A strong team orientation
• Background as an entrepreneur, at least one company created is preferred;
